Brief Introduction

Huatian Electric has designed and developed a melt-blown cloth electrostatic electret generator for maask production based on customer needs. This equipment can continuously produce high-voltage static electricity. The main function is to melt-blown static electricity from the non-woven fabric of the maask, so that the maask will have an average particle diameter. The filtration efficiency of (3 ± 0.3) μm S. aureus aerosol is not less than 95%. The melt-blown cloth electrostatic electret generator plays an indispensable role in the maask production line.

Meltblown filter principle. The main material of melt-blown non-woven fabric is polypropylene, which is a kind of ultra-fine electrostatic fiber cloth that can capture dust. When the droplets containing pneumonia virus are close to the melt-blown non-woven fabric, they will be electrostatically adsorbed on the surface of the non-woven fabric and cannot penetrate. This is how this material isolates germs. After the dust is caught by the ultra-fine electrostatic fibers, it is extremely difficult to separate due to cleaning, and the washing will also destroy the electrostatic suction ability of the static electricity. Therefore, this maask can only be used once.

Meltblown non-woven fabrics need to be added with a trace substance called "electret", which is easily charged with static electricity. Non-woven fabrics are subjected to "coroona discharge" through electrostatic electret equipment to melt Sprayed non-woven fabrics have been charged for a long time.

Electret processing. Electret refers to a dielectric material with long-term charge storage function. It has the advantages of high efficiency, low flow resistance, antibacterial, energy saving, etc. On the basis of ensuring the physical collision barrier effect of conventional filter materials, the electrostatic adsorption effect is increased. The electret treatment makes the filter material fibers charged, combined with the dense characteristics of melt-blown ultrafine fiber materials, so a large number of electrodes are formed between the charged fibers. The charged fibers can not only attract most of the charged particles in the environment like a magnet, but also Part of the uncharged particles can be polarized, and then some pollutants with smaller particle size can be adsorbed. Even nano-scale substances such as viruses can be electrostatically adsorbed or blocked by charge repulsion.
