Lysine is a necessary building block for all protein in the body, it is considered as the first or second limiting amino acid in a typical corn or soybean based diet for most species.
Lysine plays a major role in calcium absorption; building muscle protein; recovering from surgery or sports injuries; and the body's production of hormones, enzymes, and antibodies.
As one of the eight essential amino acids , Lysine can't be compounded automatically in the animal body. It is most lacking in vegetable feeds.
This product is used only for animals.

White or pale brown powder, tasteless or special odour. Easily soluble in water, but insoluble in alcohol and aether.
