Sodium Pyrithione (SPT) is mainly used for antisepsis and mould proofing in the fields of personal care product (shampoo and hair care products), building coating, adhesive, sealant, pesticide, textile, leatherware, metal processing liquid. It also can used to formulate antiseptics, washing chemical and broad-spectrum dermatological antifungal medicine. Moreover, it is an effective bactericide for fruit trees, peanuts, wheat and vegetables and antiseptics for silkworm use. Therefore, SPT and its like products are widely used in relative fields due to its properties of high efficiency, broad-spectrum and low toxicity.
