FAQ

Q: What is the operating voltage for the gauges?

A: The gauge can work with both 12V and 24V systems. When connecting to a 24V system, certain gauge will require a drop resistor on the connection between the power and the gauge.

Q: How to test if the level gauge is operating correctly?

A: 1.Make sure power to the gauge is not on.  2.Disconnect the black wire on the gauge to the sender. Leave enough wire at the gauge end to work with. 3. Turn on the power to the gauge. 4.Inspect the: 1) American standard gauges (240-33 ohms) will show Empty. Ground the black wire, and the needle will go to Full. 2) European standard gauges (0-190 ohms) will show Full. Ground the black wire, and the needle will go to Empty.
