To make coffee

Lift the reservoir lid and fill the reservoir with cold water from the tap, depending on the number of cups of coffee you with to prepare. The water level indicator shows the number of cups (1cup=100ml).

Place the permanent filter in the brew basket and fill it with ground coffee. Put in 6 or 7 grams of ground coffee per cup. To use the carafe , put it (with the lid on)  on the warm-plate and position the brew basket. Close the lid of the appliance. The pilot light will turn on , indicating that the coffee maker is on. Once the coffee is made, the coffee in the carafe will be kept warm as long as the coffee maker is on. The non-drip mechanism prevents the filter from dripping after the carafe  is removed or the brew basket is tilted.
