Large Bone Temporary External Fixation System carbon fiber rods
The Carbon Fiber Rods are offered in 5mm 8mm 11mm 12mm diameter and are available in a variety of lengths. Carbon Fiber Rods have the added benefit of being radiolucent and extremely lightweight.
Carbon Fiber: Torayca T700 or Tairyfil TC35
Tensile strength (virgin fiber): 4900 MPa
Tensile modulus (virgin fiber): 230 Gpa
Resin: High performance bisphenol epoxy resin
Carbon Fiber Content : >60%
Epoxy Resin Content : <40%
