         Acetic acid, also called acetic acid (36%--38%), acetic acid (98%), is a kind of organic acids, as the main component of vinegar. Pure anhydrous acetic acid (acetic acid) is hygroscopic colorless solid, the freezing point is 16.6 degrees (62 degrees Fahrenheit), after solidification is a colorless crystal, a weak acid and its strong corrosion resistance in aqueous solution, steam eye and nose irritation effect.

1. Acetic acid is the second simplest carboxylic acid(after formic acid) and consists of two small functional groups, an acetyl  group (sometimes symbolized as Ac) and a hydroxyl  group (AcOH);

5. In biochemistry, the acetyl group, derived from acetic acid, is fundamental to all forms of life. When bound to coenzyme A,it is central to the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats.
