Description

Carob, a Mediterranean climate fruit, is the broad bean shaped (pod) fruit of Ceratonia Siliqua L. type trees according to TS 2907 (TSE, 1977). Carob (Ceratonia Siliqua) is also known as Carob, eatable pods of this evergreen tree or bush, which is grown in Mediterranean climate, are soft and sweet at the core when the fruit is fresh.
