Eagles-1100 Acid Mist Suppressant

 

Introduction

Eagles-1100  is a acid mist suppressant,especially used in copper electrodeposition.

It could reduce electrowinning tank mist significantly with a low foam level.

 

Advantages

We used Eagles-1100 in Chinese copper plant,it present a significant advance over other chemical product without any stable foam on tank house. The foam is inflammable in air. It’s very dangerous. When it contact with various conventional extractant, Eagles-1100  doesn’t increase phase disengagement and doesn’t affect extraction process.

Applications

During electro deposition of copper metal in tank house, oxygen bubble rising up from electrolyte

Solution burst out to be acid aerosol. When add Eagles-1100  in solution, it change the bubble burst kinetics, significantly reducing the amount of acid mist expelled in to the air.

Eagles-1100  could be added directly into tank house. The using range is 10ppm-20ppm active solid.

Product Handling

The preferred disposal method, of unused material, is to incinerate in a industrial or commercial facility. Combustion products will include HF. Facility must be capable of handling halogenated materials.
