Transmitter transmitting distance reference:

Below is a rough outline of the different power FM transmitters. (range is diameter)

Environment: Less electromagnetic interference, open terrain, no obstruction, stable voltage, and the antenna is 30 meters above the ground.

0.1W~5W FM transmitter: 100M~1KM

5W~15W FM transmitter: 1~3KM

15W~80W FM transmitter: 3KM~10KM

80W~500W FM transmitter: 10KM~30KM

500W~1000W FM transmitter: 30KM~50KM

1KW~2KW FM transmitter: 50KM-100KM

2KW~5KW FM transmitter: 100KM~150KM

How far can the transmitter transmit?

The transmission distance depends on many factors, the installation height of the antenna, the gain of the antenna, the sensitivity of the receiver, and the size of the receiving antenna. Environment application: such as buildings and other obstacles that may affect the launch of the antenna; remember that the higher the height of the antenna is installed, the further the distance will be.

Examples:

1. Receive sensitivity and open environment

It used to use a handheld walkie-talkie with a maximum power of 5W in the Gobi Desert to penetrate the desert of about 30KM.

In the same Gobi desert, a 5W FM radio transmitter is used, and the receiving end is a car radio with a distance of 10KM.

2.The same power, different height environment

The altitude of the mountain is 842M, the power is 1000 watts. The receiving end is a car FM radio with a launch radius of ≈ 50KM.

3. Different powers at the same height
