Propylene Glycol is an organic compound with the chemical formula C3H8O2, which is miscible with water, ethanol and many organic solvents. It is a colorless viscous liquid under normal conditions, almost tasteless, and slightly sweet.

Propylene Glycol 
1. Commonly used organic synthetic raw materials, used to make unsaturated polyester resins.
2. It can be used as emulsifier, antiseptic and antifreeze.
3. It is also used in the manufacture of alkyd resins, polypropylene glycols, plasticizers, surfactants and lubricants.
4. Used as a solvent for spices, seasonings and food colorings in the food industry.
5. Also used as tobacco moisturizer, antifungal agent, fruit ripening preservative, coating film forming aid, antifreeze and heat transfer medium.
6. It is also often used as a substitute for ethanol and glycerin. It can be used as a wetting agent with glycerol or sorbitol in toothpaste and cosmetics.


Packing & Delivery




Storage and transportation containers should be made of galvanized iron drums, aluminum or stainless steel. Avoid contact with water and humid environment. The storage tank must be kept clean, dry and rust-free. It must be stored in a place with dikes, air circulation, and no exposure to sunlight, open flames and other heat sources.
