The original issued 14.5A battery should be replaced every 1-2 years to ensure your alarm has enough battery power to sound the alarm in the event of a power cut. The Extended Life 19,000mAh battery will offer 3-4 years use before needing to be replaced. A flat battery will cause an alarm to sound on most systems.
