Slide gate plate for Large and Medium size ladles

This product adopts tabular alumina, carbonaceous material and zirconia-containing material as main raw materials,

adds in high performance antioxidants, uses phenolic resin as binder, formed under high-pressure and burned under

high temperature. The slide plates have the advantages of high strength, good erosion resistance, thermal shock

resistance and good stability etc., mainly used in large and medium-sized ladle.

to thermal shock and to molten steel. The produsts lasts for up to six heats when used in 150T ladle, which are welcomed by customes because of the excellent application results.

Ladle slide gate refractories
Slide gate system consists of upper and lower slide plate and mechanical device.
It's installed outside of the ladle bottom. Upper slide plate is fixed, lower slide plate is removable.
There are mainly three operation methods:
1)Straight line reciprocating
2)Straight line pushing
3)Rotating 
Through the drive rod, the slide plates keep straight line reciprocating movement, when the cast hole one slide plate stagger,

fill the upper nozzle with stuffing sand,fill ladle with molten steel, when the cast holes overlap, stuffing sand will flow out auto matically, and the casting starts. The speed of casting can be controlled by the extent of overlapping between the cast holes.
