White fused alumina for Fire bricks, high alumina bricks is high grade refractory material , which made from the high quality alumina by melting above 2000 ℃ in the electric arc furnace and cooling, classify into different parcel size.
White fused alumina Occupying higher hardness and slightly lower toughness compared with Brown Fused Alumina, it is characterised by its high purity, better cutting,ability of self-sharpening, less heat emit during grinding, higher efficiency,acid and alkali resistance, and good thermal stability. Abrasive tools made of it are suitable for grinding high-speed, high carbon steel,etc.
It also can be used as materials for grinding and polishing, precision casting, spraying and coating, medium body for chemical industry, special ceramics and high-grade refractory materials,etc.

Differences are below:
BFA bulk density is(1.53-1.99g/cm3)and true density (3.90g/cm3). While WFAbulk density (1.75-1 95g/cm3)and true density (3.95-397g/cm3).
Main raw material of bfa is bauxite, and main raw material of WFA is calcinedalumina powder
BFA has al203 content of 95% Min, WFA has al203 Content of 99% MinBFA has refractory temperature 1850 Celsius degree, WFA has refractorytemperature 2100 Celsius degree.
Although their Mohs hardness is 9.0, WFA is even harder than BFA, and BFA ismore flexible than WFA
