Different of acrylic glove box Type-A-B-C:

Type-A: This glove box is specifically for protection against radiation, isolation operation or dust-proof operation, and no transition box. It can only do simple experiments, thematerial thickness is 10mm.

 Type-B: As an anaerobic anhydrous glove box, the transition room can be vacuumed, and the operation room is replaced by inert gas. It has a transition box than type-a,and the material can be transmittedfrom the transition box during the experiment.The transition box can pumpvacuum and the vacuum degree up to -0.1mpa, The material thickness is 10mm.

Type-C: Both of operation box and transition box can be pumped vacuum andthan inject high purity gas after vacuum, limit vacuum degree can reach -0.1mpa..The internal water and oxygen content isgreatly reduced and the material thickness is 20mm.

How to select the model and problems in selection?

Q1. The dimension selected for laboratory using.

A:It can select the JHI12,JHI11,JHI10 or JHI1 for laboratory using. These four glove boxes can meet the requirements of most customers

Q2. Equipment selection inside the glove box.
A: If you want to put the balance inside, you can select JHI11,JHI1, The left round door dimension is 350mm for these two glove boxes.

Q3. Price/performance ratio selection.
A:To be cost-effective, please choose JHI12 and JHI11 and JHI10

Q4:  the content range of water and oxygen(O2 &H2O). 
A: Water molecular content is about 10% after type B is replaced by inert gas. After type C vacuumed, the water molecule content is about 1%-5% (about 100-300ppm).

Q5: Vacuum pump selection
A:We suggest to select the 4L to 6L and above model.If the operation boxes 1000mm and above model,we suggest to select 6L. If the voltage is 380V in the laboratory,we could choose 8L model.

Q6: Adding the electric furnace in the operation box,what we should pay attention to. 
A: It can be slightly higher for the local temperature of the electric furnace surface. But the overall temperature should not exceed 50 degree.

Q7: Wanted to use organic solvents inside.
A: It will cause a certain loss for organic material during of operation because acrylic is an organic material by itself, so it is not recommended to use.

Q8: Is it suitable for disassemble of lithium battery?

A: We don’t suggest to use the acrylic glove box because of electrolyte in the lithium battery and corrosively. We have another stainless steel glove box or circulatory system glove box for your selection.

Q9: For Type-C,How about the JHI2-JHI5 what I have selected?

A: The operation box dimension of those models is 1200mm and it is so large. the material thickness is 40mm.The original manufacturer has been unable to supply this material thickness in these years.We only can use the import material 30mm at present and the vacuum of the operation box cannot guarantee -0.1mpa.So, It is recommended that other models be selected. If you want to the large space, we can suggest to select the MT001-C(the dimension is 1094*645*640). This is very stable. 

Q10:What is the material of your gloves? What is the dimension? What is the warranty
of your glove box?

A: At present, we normally used the latex glove to meet the and the domestic demand. The dimension are as follows:

145*600mm( thicker and shorter) which used in the box under 1 meter &146*800mm(thinner and longer) which used in the box above 1 meter. The gloveis easy broken by a sharp touch,So the gloves without warranty. Our glove box isone year warranty.

Q11:What do we pay attention to when using the glove box?

A:Type-a and type-b glove boxes are relatively easy.They can be replaced directly with inert gas to achieve the environment you want.

When the type-C glove box is working, must obey a rule that it should be vacuum pumped for the gloves first because there is air inside the glove.The gloves will be exploded if the operation box vacuum pumped first.

When the operation box is vacuum pumped, the transition box should not be the positive pressure but the negative pressure. If the operation box is the negative pressure, the transition not isn’t the negative pressure, it will break the door between the transition box and the operation box.

Q12:Is it possible to add a hygrometer inside?

A: At present, the average hygrometer can only know a approximate data inthe market, when the humidity is below 20% in the box, the hygrometer can notbe correctly worked. The humidity is less than 5% after vacuum pumped and inertgas filling in the type-c glove box, the hygrometer may still to display 20% at thispoint .Will be misunderstood for experiments. If you need to know the exacthumidity inside, we recommend adding a professional hygrometer called Dew Point Met.
