ASTM G155 Xenon Lamp Climatic Test Chamber
Xenon lamp test chamber uses xenon arc lamp which can simulate all sunlight spectrum to reproduce destructive light wave in different environment. It can provide corresponding environment simulation and accelerated test for scientific research, product development and quality control. Xenon lamp test box can be used to select new materials, improve existing materials or evaluate the durability of materials after composition changes in the test, it can be a good simulation of different environmental conditions, materials exposed to sunlight changes. The lifespan of the xenon arc lamp depends on the level of radiation illumination. Generally, the lifespan of the lamp is 1600 hours. Lamp replacement is convenient and quick, and long acting filters provide protection for maintaining the required spectrum.

4. The structural part of the box body:
The xenon lamp climate test box is composed of the following parts: test box, control system, refrigeration/dehumidification system, heating system, humidification system, air duct system, rain system, light system, etc.
Test box body:
The test box adopts an integrated structure. The upper left part of the box is a studio, the upper right part is an electrical control room, and the lower part is a compressor refrigeration unit.
The inner wall of the test box is made of international SUS304# stainless steel plate.
Polyurethane foam and ultra-fine glass fiber are used as the insulation material of the box body. The insulation effect is good. The outer surface of the test box is not frosted and dew.
There is condensate outlet at the bottom of the box.
Door frame adopts environment-friendly silicone rubber sealing strip which can endure high and low temperature for a long time.
The front face of the box body is provided with a glass observation window, which is covered with a film to protect the eyes from xenon lamp radiation damage.
Outer box:
The outer box body is processed by numerical control machine tool, the outer shell of the box body is processed by high quality cold rolled steel plate, and the surface is treated by acid washing and phosphating and electrostatic spraying.
Door and door buckle:
Double-layer refined silicone rubber is used to seal the box door, so there is no aging and hardening phenomenon under high and low temperature conditions, and the sealing is more reliable.
The test box is a single door (embedded door handle) and adopts no reaction handle.
There are observation windows, frost protection devices and switch controlled lights on the door.

5. The Electrical Control Part Of The Test Box
This part is the core part of the test box.
The main switch of the power supply is an air pressure switch, which controls the whole circuit part.
Safety protection measures of the electronic control part: when the control system detects the following protective devices (single row) action, it should be able to automatically cut off the whole system, and can give an alarm prompt;
The workshop is over temperature protected.
Power shortage and leakage protection;
The motor is over-current protection.
The overpressure / overload protection of the refrigerator.
Heater / humidifier short circuit / overload protection;
Fuse fusing protection;
6. The Working Part of The Test Box
Compressor condensing part:
Refrigeration System: The core of the refrigeration system is the compressor. In this scheme, we use a French Taikang fully enclosed compressor to ensure the cooling requirements of the studio.
The design and application of refrigeration system energy regulation technology, an effective way to ensure the normal operation of refrigeration units, but also to adjust the energy consumption and refrigeration capacity of the refrigeration system, so that the operating costs and failure rate of the refrigeration system to a more economical state.
Refrigeration evaporator: The evaporator is located in the interlayer of the air duct at one end of the test box, forced ventilation by the blast motor, rapid heat transfer.
Cooling mode of cooling system: forced air cooling;
Refrigerant: R404a; (environmental protection refrigerant)
Heating part:
Heating side: direct heating in test box;
Military grade stainless steel finned heating tube is adopted, the heating rate is steady, and the temperature in the box body can be kept stable. It has the advantages of corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, no leakage and easy installation.
First, SSR (solid-state relay) output control, with no noise, reliable work, long life, strong anti-interference ability, fast switching speed, small external interference, easy to use and other advantages;
Rain system:
The rain system is mainly composed of nozzles, solenoid valves, water supply sources and connecting hoses.
Lighting system:
The lighting system is mainly composed of xenon lamp tube, lampshade, xenon lamp trigger and various control devices. Xenon lamp energy compensation is achieved by adjusting the sample frame distance and adjusting the voltage and current.
Duct system:
The air duct system is located in the interlayer at the back of the test box, and the inner distributors are heater, blade, evaporator, PT100 temperature sampling sensor, etc. When the fan rotates at high speed, the air in the studio is sucked into the air duct from the upper part, and the heat generated by the heater and the cooling produced by the evaporator are fully mixed and blown out from the lower part of the air duct. The air after heat exchange with the sample in the studio is sucked into the air duct for mixing and recycling, so as to reach the target temperature. At the same time, we need to ensure that the temperature and humidity index of the test chamber is higher.
Refrigeration / dehumidification system:
Select the world famous French "Taikang" full closed industrial refrigeration compressor. It is mainly used for cooling xenon lamp tube and constant chamber temperature and reducing indoor humidity.
Humidification part:
Steam generator: steam needed to vaporize water to produce equipment.
Water level control: solenoid valve control water intake, level switch control water level, humidifier control and alarm to provide a signal.
Gas circulation part:
Built-in circulating ducts and fans, use efficient refrigerators and energy regulation system, through efficient ventilators for effective heat exchange, to achieve the purpose of temperature change, by improving the air blast, improve air flow and heating humidification and air surface cooler heat exchange capacity. The adjustment of the air adjusting bolt greatly improves the temperature and humidity uniformity of the test box.
