Description

  Traditional cotton gauze has been used for wound treating for thousands of years, due to its satisfied bio-compatibility, softness and absorbency. However, its seasonal and human labor dependence in planting and manufacturing make its price fluctuate every year. Furthermore, cotton output changes as weather conditions do.

  Modern chemical technology provides a wide range of selection of wound care products, PVA gauze is one of them, own to its advantages over cotton as below

 

Advantages over cotton:

 

1, Safe, non-toxic, and 100% water soluble. We have modified and designed our raw material to be 90℃ hot water soluble.

 

2, PVA Gauze has better bio-compatibility. Low skin sensitization / irritation, and low cytotoxicity (refer to test report )  

 

3, No bleaching process in the production of PVA yarn. The color of PVA yarn or gauze is a natural white.

 

4, Long fiber weaving. PVA fiber can reach 10CM or even longer while cotton’s is shorten 4CM.

 

5, Low adherence in wound treating which ensure better wound environment for new tissue, and benefit both caregivers the patients.

 

6,Stable production capacity. The production output for PVA gauze is rely on machine quantity instead of human labor.
