Oat alkaloid has multifunctional anti-inflammatory activity, including inhibiting the nf-κb-α degradation of the angular nucleus factor directly related to inflammation, preventing the phosphorylation of the P65 protein subunits on the nucleus factor NF-κb, thus blocking the process of cell inflammation, reducing the occurrence of inflammatory immune reaction and the reaction of skin neurodermatitis. Oat alkaloid can inhibit the activity of tumor necrosis factor TNF-α induce NF-κb, reduce inflammatory factors and induce the release of atopic dermatitis IL-8. Under the low concentration of 30ppm, oat alkaloid can greatly reduce the number of itch of contact dermatitis and neurodermatitis.
The evidence above shows that oat alkaloids have potent anti-inflammatory and itching characteristics, and are a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory natural ingredient that is comparable in value to hydrocortisone, but without any side effects of steroid hormones.
