 What is ultrasonic cleaning?

Ultrasonic cleaning is an exceptional technique that facilitates the cleaning process. It is an exceptionally thorough process which cleans efficiently various items. This powerful process can perform very detailed work quickly and successfully remove microscopic particles from hard surfaces. External as well as internal surfaces, blind holes and crevices, can be cleaned simultaneously and uniformly. Greasy, oily and sticky parts are efficiently cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaning unit.

Another unavoidable fact is that, with use, electronics get very dirty. Dirt and other contaminants are more than an inconvenience. If not cleaned properly, dirt on electronic components can cause the device to:

  • Overheat and start fires.

  • Short circuit and injure people.

  • Malfunction causing loss of valuable data.

  • Spread disease through the use of infected keyboards, cell phones, touch screens and other devices.

In order to protect users, preserve data and keep society running smoothly, it’s very important for electronics of all types to not just be regularly cleaned, but cleaned thoroughly.

  1. Car service: Flushing carburetors, injectors, injectors, fuel filter mesh cleaning (petrol), individual parts, assemblies, and entire blocks.

  2. Medicine: Washing and polishing of optics, sterilization and cleaning of surgical instruments, vials, dental and pharmaceutical industries; cleaner reusable, molds.

  3. Engineering: Cleaning of parts, pipes, wires, etc. before finishing, machining parts and components to the preservation, processing of parts after reopening, welding, grinding, polishing, cleaning strainers in the fuel and hydraulic systems, deburring parts.

  4. Instrumentation: Washing and polishing of optics, precision mechanics components, integrated circuits and printed circuit boards

30L Fuel Injector Digital Ultrasonic Cleaner

If the fuel injectors are restricted or leaking, there are several options to clean them including:
1. A fuel injector-cleaning chemical that is poured into the fuel tank.
Provides a noticeable difference in power and drive-ability after one use. The disadvantages are that you can’t check the spray pattern, and the filters may become plugged with contaminants freed by the cleaner.
2. A cleaner that runs through the fuel rails and injectors.
Uses stronger chemicals that the in tank cleaners. Same disadvantages as 1.
3. An ultrasonic injector cleaner and injector flow bench.
The preferred method of cleaning injectors. Cycles the fuel injectors while the fuel injector tips are immersed in an ultrasonic bath, which uses an environmentally friendly cleaning fluid to clean the fuel injectors. The flow bench portion also allows a user to perform a flow test before and after cleaning, and it allows the user to observe the fuel injector spray pattern. This method requires that the fuel injectors be removed from the engine.

FAQ

Q: Why is Ultrasonic Cleaning so Efficient and Effect?

A: When cavitation happens near a dirty object, the vacuum action produced by those million of bubbles constantly imploding creates a tiny pressure wave that reaches deep into every nook and cranny of even the most delicate items.

This tiny pressure wave dislodges and breaks up the dirt and other contaminants and gently lifts it away. The result isvery fast and effective cleaning.

Ultrasonic Cleaning Step :

Place your disassembled motor boat engine components in the cleaner’s mesh basket. Position them to avoid contact with each other.
Place the parts basket into the heated bath. Cleaning time will vary depending on the condition of the parts but you can start at 40 minutes. Use this time to handle other chores.

At the end of the cycle remove the basket and inspect the parts for cleanliness. If you are not happy replace them in the bath for another run. A caution: do not reach into an operating ultrasonic bath.

When parts are clean, rinse them in fresh water to remove the ultrasonic cleaning solution residue. Allow them to dry and lubricate or oil as needed before reassembly.

Ultrasonic maintenance

To ensure that your ultrasonic cleaner is working optimally it’s important to conduct routine maintenance on the unit. Ultrasonic cleaning equipment … be tested upon installation, weekly (preferably daily) during routine use, and after major repairs. Users have options for what methods they use to verify that the unit is functioning.

The foil test is a simple, yet tried-and-true method to check for ultrasonic activity in the tank. This test is conducted with a wire form covered by a piece of foil. After the system has been degassed, the form with foil is placed in the tank and the ultrasonic is started. If the foil comes out with a uniform pattern of indentations, then cavitation is present. If a different method is preferred, there are other products currently on the market that monitor ultrasonic activity within the tank. Some indicators out there are also considered dual-purpose, and act as a cleaning indicator that will also prove cavitation is present in the tank
