Stitched quadraxial fiberglass fabric
Stitched fiberglass fabric, also known as non-crimp fabrics, are distinguished by their stretched fibres inside the individual layers, to absorb optimally mechanical forces on the composite part. They are available in four different types:
Unidirectional -- in 0° or in 90° direction only.
Biaxial -- in 0°/90° direction, or +45°/-45° directions.
Triaxial -- in +45°/0°/-45°/ direction, or +45°/90°/-45° directions.
Quadriaxial -- in 0/90/-45/+45° directions.
