Drilled steel ball is usually made of carbon steel,aisi 201 304 316 stainless steel,copper,brass and aluminum materials.
Size ranges of drilled steel ball is from as small as 3mm and as big as 50.8mm.
Metal balls with drilled hole(s) types are:
1)-blind hole / half hole
2)-window hole / through hole
3)-one hole
4)-many hoels
Hole diameter is from 0.6mm to 10mm as per required.
Plated Ball:
Platings are used to enhance the physical properties of precision balls. These may include added hardness (titanium nitride), corrosion resistance (molybdenum disulfide), noise supression (rubber), and electrical characteristics (gold).
