2 ply engineered European oak wide plank flooring for USA market -- free of Anti Dumping Tax
Commonly there are 2 types of engineered wood flooring: multi-layers plywood base & 3 layers with pine core but high Anti dumping tax to US market(over 25%).The 2 layers oak engineered flooring with structural balanced pine back is regarded a new inventional prodcuts which is free of Anti Dumping Tax to US market.
Our 2-layers engineered floors are made with a top layer of solid sawn 2- 4mm European oak wood. The lower layer is made of China domestic well treated pine or poplar wood. Similar to 3 ply oak engineered flooring,2-layers engineered floors have very good underground heat conductivity and sperior stability thank to the unique vertical slot balanced pine layers.Such construction can allow wider widths and longer floorboards,typically 140mm,150mm & 190mm wide, up to 2200mm length.
It is preferable to use 2 layers engineered floors in areas with a higher relative humidity, such as basements, kitchens, near shores, etc.It will outperform solid flooring there, meaning you can use a wider-width product without seeing dimensional changes as much. The recommended Relative Humidity 35% to 55% on installation site is not a problem.
