How to chose a 4 side moulder
How many spindle I need
Firstly 4 side moulder not mean only 4 spindle, it can be 4/5/6/7or even 8 spindle, and it depens on different products: for example, if you want to produce solid wood floor, just plan 2 surface and 2 side male and famale groove a 4 spindle model is suitable, but if you want to plan 2 times on floor surface, then you need a 5 spindle, plan 5 times on visable surface.
If you just do corner rounding a basic 4 spindle is ok, but if you do European wooden windown, you may need even 8
So many models what is meaning
416/418/421/521/523/621/623/633or even 721 or 723 there are more than 15 models, it make me puzzle
Let me explain: firstly the number on first like 4/5/6/7 means numbers of spindle, and after is 16/18/21/23/30/33 all this number means for max plan width, then for example model 416 means 4 spindle max 160mm plan width, 623 means 6 spindle max 230mm planing width, roughly say16-33 the number is bigger, the machine is more heavy duty.
Just tell me what model I need
For floor: pine wood not so strict on finish of visible surface 4 spindle model is ok, then if your floor is max 180mm width you can chose 421 model, the capacity is better little bit bigger than finish width.
For hard floor need super perfect finish or even click lock joint: You need a 5 spindle then you can plan 2 times on visible surface, and for special click joint, you need even 7 spindle(2 tilting spindle)
For square plan 4 surface or corner rounding: you can chose basic 4 spindle model, but if you don't want to change tools every time you change material size you can chose 5 or even 7 spindle
For very big size construction wood beam: if size is more than 230mm, then you'd better chose 630 or 633 very heavy duty model
For decorative profile:If moulding surface to be good finish then chose 521 top 5 spindle, then you can plan 2 times on visible shaping surface, If you have 45 degree cross surface, you may even need a tilting spindle

Some standard machine or commercial machine, always in stock, for high value machine or customized machine, may takes 30-40days production.
3.After sale and warranty?
Most machine got 1 year warranty except some consumption spare, all spare within warranty period is free for change, in the condition that machine is running according to the manual book(saga got rights for explain).
