RTHW60 Railway/Railroad Covered Hopper Wagon is specially designed for railway transportation of bulk goods, such as grains, corns, soyas and etc, which need to be protected againter weather conditions. The car body adopts arc cladding structure to disperse the side pressure of bulk cargo and improve its stiffness. Loading hatches are covered with five independent covers, unloading hatches are covered with sliding doors. The wagon is loaded from the top and unloaded from the bottom hatches. Sliding doors are manually operated from both wagon sides, each door is independently. The goods are unloadede on the rails. 

This covered hopper car is designed and manufactured in accordance to AAR standards.
