1-Introduction:

Polyacrylamide is a linear water-soluble polymer, and is one of the most widely used varieties of water-soluble polymer compounds. PAM and its derivatives can be used as efficient flocculants, thickeners, paper enhancers and liquid drag reducing agents, and Polyacrylamide are widely used in water treatment, paper making, petroleum, coal, mining, metallurgy, geology, textile, construction and other industrial sectors.

3-Application for Mining Chitosan Polymer Flocculant Polyacrymide PAM

1. Well Drilling Mud Additives:

In oilfield, as mud additives to increase the viscosity of water to impove the effectiveness of the water flooding process.

2. Industrial Wastewater Treatment:

Dosing polyacrylamide can reduce the consumption of coagulant and speed up sedimentation.

3. Textile Auxiliary Agent:

PAM can be added with some other chemicals to prepare chemical grout, is used to starch textiles, can improve the adhesive property, penetrability and desizing performance, enables the textile to have electrostatic prevention performance, reduces the desizing rate, and reduces the starch mixing spots, cloth machine breaking efficiency, and falling objects.

4. Paper-making:

PAM can be used as fixing agent, residency agent, filtration aid and paper dry and wet intensity reinforcing agent in paper-making industry.

5. Mine Washing:

PAM can be used in coal washing tailing centrifugal separation, for sedimentation and filtration of coal powder and coal mud, and can improve the recovery rate of coal powder and the filtration speed.

6. Sewage Water Treatment:

When sewage water systems are acidophilic, it is more suitable to select nonionic-polyacrylamide, the product can be matched with PAC, aluminium sulphate and the like, and it has the best effect in water treatment. 

7. Metallurgical Mineral Dressing:

It can be used in floatation and smelting of Zinc, manganese and copper mines, its leachate and slag can be added into PAM to improve the separation efficiency. 

8. Sand Prevention and Solidification:

The polyacrylamide is dissolved into 0.3% concentration, cross-linking agent is added, and the product can be sprayed on desert to prevent and solidify sand.

9. Chemical mudding agent:

Polyacrylamide can be used as chemical mudding agent for plugging water of dikes, ground foundation, channels and the like.

10. Oil field profile controlling and water-plugging agent:

The product can be matched with lignocellulose, a certain amount of chemical adhesive can be added, and the product can be used as oil field profile controlling and water-plugging agent.

11. Soil humectants:

Polyacrylamide can preserve water and solidify sand for soil and can play a role of humectant on slope grass planting, tree planting, and sand solidification and dust prevention of soil.

Anionic Polyacrylamide:     Anionic polyacrylamide is mainly used in minerals selection, metallurgy, coal washing, food, steel, spinning and papermaking industry which involves separation of solid-liquid and waste water treatment. Anionic PAM can also be used for oil well and oil extraction in oil industry, and retention aids and intensifier in papermaking industry.
	Cationic Polyacrylamide:     Cationic polyacrylamide is mainly used as flocculants and dewatering reagents for industry waste water and sewage; retention aids and intensifier in paper making industry; waste water treatment in pharmaceutical, leather making, printing and dyeing industry waste water treatment, and organizer in textile industry.
Amphoteric Polyacrylamide:     Amphoteric polyacrylamide is mainly used high difficult waste water treatment or sludge dewatering reagents in oil refining and chemical industry or papermaking industry.

How to use PAM

When using this PAM concentration should be controlled in 0.1-0.2%,do not use the equipment and matching dissolved dosing system,shell be equipped with dilution tank. The use of screw pump to add,the amount of adjustment according to the actual situation.

Polyacrylamide is used widely  , should be selected according to different industry .
