Description-Encapsulated O Rings
The Encapsulated O rings are a combination of the rubber's elasticity and scalability with the chemical resistance. It is a thin layer of PTFE or rubber products. A combination with FKM's PFA and fkm PFA outer cover, this rubber combined with FKM O ring, provides excellent sealing performance.
Encapsulated O rings, also known as "fluorinated O rings" and "Silicon-coated O rings" also have "Double-layered O rings".The external use of FEP or PFA special high temperature resistant fluoroplastic, and internal coated elastic rubber (fluorine rubber/silicone, etc.) Besides, O rings coated with FEP or PFA have good resistance to swelling and chemical stability (unless they are attacked by alkali metals, fluorine, and some halogens at high temperatures) and have good elasticity near the rubber O rings.FEP or PFA has a very low coefficient of friction (only 0.08 to 0.2). Besides, it has excellent gas permeation resistance.
