ANDEA air-/gas-tight door is used for hospital operating theatre, patient room, clean room, Lab, food factory, pharmaceutical factory, and other places need dust proof/gas proof/water proof, etc.

 

Air-/Gas-Tight Door blocks air flow in-between compartments and is designed to be completely air-tight. Gasket packing system does good in preventing contaminated air from entering a clean area. The Air-/Gas-Tight Door is installed as a door in the region between a liquid contaminated area and a gas contaminated area, between a gas contaminated area and an air-tight room, between an air-tight room and a non-harmful zone, and a clean machine room and a contaminated machine room.

 

It  is also installed in the inside of the blast-proof door connecting a non-harmful zone to the outside. The door runs freely against positive pressure and negative pressure. It can resist considerable pressure and is designed to be opened inward. This door makes it possible to maintain air tightness allowing one to push and open it when the indoor air pressure spikes up. It is also perfect for use as a main entrance door in conjunction with the blast-proof door.

 

The Air-/Gas-Tight Door must meet the prescribed air leak standard (N S3206 STANDARD): less than 0.5cmh per door of 1 under 800. The doors use stainless or iron materials and the flaps and frames of the doors are secured on steel surfaces with epoxy or urethane paints to prevent contamination.

 

 

The Air-/Gas-Tight Doors have been installed in military facilities, garbage treatment plants for blocking offensive odors, gas treatment plants to block gases, and contagious diseases-isolation wards in hospitals, food factory, etc. More national or public factorys and hospitals are planning to install Air-/Gas-Tight Doors in their isolation wards, which is expected to drive up the demand for such doors soon.

 

The door body is made of colorized steel/alluminum alloy sandwich board with foaming process (small window with double glass to realize visual the airproof function.) It also can be made of the large-plane 304^# stainless steel plate and framed large-plane glass. The inner material is usually  polyvinyl chloride foam panel. The inner material also could be fire proof material which make the door fire-proof. The dimension of the door is decided by the door hole and there is no standard dimension for it.  

 

The dodge gate is equipped with rubber seal. Special purpose seal stripe are used to seal around the mobile door to make sure that the door will joint tightly with the doorframe for air tightness when closed. It can joint the door frame when closedown and ensuring the airtightness of door. At both sides and the center joint, there are the sealing strips installed, which conforms to the sanitary requirement for use in hospital, research institute, recording studio or any other  places need for dustproof and cleanness.

 

The open type of the door can be sliding or swing. Both the swing door operator and the sliding door opener are passed 200 million times lasting test. The swing door operator / sliding door operator can be controled by remote controller or by entrance guard system. The lock for swing door can be magnetic or electrified.
