Ingredients

Codonopsis Radix, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (stir-baked), Poria, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata cum Melle, Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Paeoniae Radix Alba (stir-baked with wine), Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, Astragalia Radix Praeparata cum Melle, Cinnamomi Cortex.

Description

Blackish-brown concentrated pills; taste, sweet and slightly pungent.

Actions and Indications

To warm and tonify qi and nourish blood. Pattern of dual deficiency of heart qi and blood manifested as pale complexion, shortness of breath, palpitation, dizziness, spontaneous sweating, and cold limbs.

Specification

8 pills are equal to 3 g crude drug.

Administration and Dosage

For oral administration. 8 to 10 pills per time, three times a day.

Not clear.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated during pregnancy. It is contraindicated for patients of strong body without deficiency pattern.

Precautions

1. Avoid cold, raw, and greasy food.

2. Patients externally contracted wind-cold, wind-heat or with interior exuberant excess heat are not advised to use.

3. It is not advised to take with cold medications at same time.

4. It is not advised to take with Veratrum Nigrum, Rubrum Halloysitum or its preparations.

5. This product contains Cinnamomi Cortex, which is the herb with warm and hot properties, therfore, those with excessive heat are not allowde to use.

6. It is advised to take before or along with meals.

7. Administration following the Package Insert, and children should take under the instruction of doctors.

8. During medication, if symptoms of dry mouth, dry stool, reddish tongue occur, patients should go to see the doctors.

9. Patients who are allergic to this product are not allowed to use it and patients with allergic constitution should be cautious to use it.

10. Do not use it if any change in drug description is notable.

11. Children should use under the supervision of adults.

12. Please keep this product in a place out of the reach of children.
