5. Tank attachments

Internal ring segments, drilled for assembly of 6 demountable and folded stainless steel surge baffles. Baffles 3mm stainless steel #304.

Valve cabinet on rear end for the bottom discharge, with lockable door. Operation decal on the inside of the valve cabinet door
6. Tank Openings & Connections

6.1 Manhole

- One (1) manhole at rear end of the container

- DN500 inside diameter, with bolted cover

- Spiral wound gasket (304/PTFE)

6.2 Safety Relief Valve

- One (1) flange for safety relief valve on top of tank (approx 18 offset from vertical center-line.)

- Size DN80, equipped with Fort Vale relief valve (FV 015/22615F)

- Bursting Disc, supplied by Continental DISC Corporation or equivalent.

- Manometer (tell-tale)

- Custom seals.

- Gasket Spiral wound PTFE/SS.

6.3 Liquid Line

- One (1) flange 2” (DN50) for internal bottom valve and external a manual operated Fort Vale 2” ball valve (FV 802B/0490L or equivalent)
- Internally a dip pipe to the bottom of the tank, with sump in tank-wall

- Gasket Spiral wound PTFE/SS.

- Ball valve provided with blind flange and 3¼” ACME coupling with cap

- One (1) purge cock on the ACME coupling.

6.4 Gas Line

- One (1) flange 2” (DN50) for internal bottom valve and external a manual operated Fort Vale 2” ball valve (FV 802B/0490R or equivalent)
- Internally a stand pipe to the gas phase

- Gasket Spiral wound PTFE/SS.

- Ball valve provided with blind flange and 1¾” ACME coupling with cap

- One (1) purge cock on the ACME coupling.

6.5 Pressure gauge (manometer)

- One (1) ½” connection for pressure gauge, connected to the gas phase of the tank.

- External a DN15 ball valve or needle valve

- One (1) ¼’ manometer 0-40 Bar

6.6 Temperature gauge (thermometer)

- One (1) ½” connection for pressure gauge

- Thermometer range -60 to +100 ºC and -76 to +212 ºF, dual scale

6.7 Level gauge

- One 4” Rochester Magnetel liquid level gauges M6300 series, fitted on the rear of container, adjacent to manhole.

- One φ219×4 stainless steel pipe around the level gauge, welded the head, and with a
stainless cover,3mm thickness.

7. Sun Shield

Tank fitted with a sun shield of 2mm aluminum alloy (3003), pre-painted white (equivalent) RAL 9010, covered angle approx. 120°.
Sunshield plates hold by 8 pieces stainless steel bands.

8. Surface Treatment

8.1 Internal tank surface treatment

- Welds will be cleaned

- All surfaces shotblasted to SA 2½.

- The vessel will be delivered in a Nitrogen purged condition and filled with 1.0 Bar Nitrogen. Dew point -20ºC.

8.2 External tank surface treatment

- Shotblasting to SA2½

- Zinc rich primer, Top coat color white RAL 9010

- Total dry film thickness 120 microns DFT

8.3 Framework surface treatment

- Shotblasting to SA2½

- Zinc rich primer, Top coat color to suit customer

- Total dry film thickness 120 microns DFT

 

9. Marking / Lettering

- All markings in line with code requirements, as far as possible combined on plates.

- Corporate logos and advertisement decals to be supplied by customers free of any charges for CIMC

- Including the regulatory markings, tank owner numbers and Nitrogen logo.
