HEMC(hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose, also named methyl 2-hydroxyethyl cellulose) is a main used chemical additive in construction. Compared with HPMC, it's often used in high grade fields like tiles adhensive as well as coating and paints(same like HEC). It can prevent pigment or filler setteling and flocculating and give coating excellent workability.
