2.Applications and Performance
Silane KH-1524 is widely used in the following areas:
♥ Metal preservatives
The silane has a sulfhydryl group and has a special effect as a metal surface antirust agent. It can be used to deal with metal surface such as gold, silver and copper to improve its corrosion resistance, antioxidation and improve the adhesion to polymer materials.
♥ Polymer filled materials
This product is widely used in filled polymer materials. It can be applied to thermosetting and thermoplastic polymer materials, such as epoxy, finishing, phenolic sulfonyl, polystyrene, polystyrene, inkstone and so on. Especially in the rubber industry, it can improve its mechanical properties, improve its wear resistance and reduce permanent deformation. It is suitable for NR, EPDM, SBR, polysulfide rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, NBR, neoprene and polyurethane rubber. It has a wide range of inorganic filler, which can be used in glass fiber, silica, quartz powder, talcum, mica, fly ash clay, clay, and so on.
