5 stars Buy one even if you don't need it yet!!
I almost cried when I saw the price of replacing my Go Pro housing, but how much fun is my Go Pro without it? Just that one little dumb plastic piece on the latch. If only I could only replace that latch. Well thank you Sametop!! Not only did you have a replacement, but it surpasses the original piece! I own a Jeep Wranlger and I read the reviews...of course...and everyone remarked how much better the aluminum replacement was over the plastic original. And they come in colors!!!! OK, no red, but colors!!! A great replacement at a great price.
5 stars GoPro should take some cues from the quality of this replacement part
Replacement latch for my GoPro Hero4 underwater case failed at the weakest possible point (flimsy plastic hinge) I was very happy to find a company had the thoughtfulness to build a replacement piece out of solid aluminum. So much higher quality than the original. GoPro really could learn something from you guys. I expect this part will outlast the case now it is so well made.
5 stars Perfect replacement latch
My original GoPro case latch broke before I was leaving on a dive trip. So I purchase this replacement latch and it is way better than the original GoPro plastic latch. It's made of aluminum and very well-constructed. It's aluminum latch and a metal connector that attach to the housing. The GoPro is plastic and snapped right off. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this. My camera was safe during all 7 dives.
