Principle:

Connection methods:
A tension sensor with a compression block connection measures the tension of the coil through a stationary shaft and a moving shaft. A tension sensor is mounted on each end of the frame, and the idler roller is supported between the two tension sensors.The clamp-shell connection allows idler rollers to be easily installed when tension sensors are mounted on both ends of the rack. This connection can adjust the non-coincidence between the rack and idler rollers after thermal expansion during machine operation. This unique design can also be applied to the static axis and the motion axis.

The in-roll connection is directly embedded into the two ends of the idler roller. The two ends of the rack are equipped with a tension sensor, and the idler roller is installed between the two tension sensors. This in-roll connection USES spherical bearings to smooth the adjustment of the idler roll rotation and misalignment between the frame. This connection eliminates the need for idler rollers for shaft and bearing, thus reducing the cost of the tension detection system.
