The tape shape of the elastic tape is based on the Japanese Chiropractor Dr.Kenzo Kase. This elastic tape does not restrict the freedom of movement, whereby a large range of applications and effects can be achieved. The most common facilities include the muscle, ligament, correction, fascia and the lymphatic technique. Depending on the individual requirements, muscle tension/strain can be regulated, straps, tendons andjoints relieved, malpositions corrected, facial tensions resolved or lymphatic drainage promoted. It is assumed that this tape raises the epidermis slightly against the subcutaneous tissue and displaces it during movement, the tissue pressure drops and blood circulation increases as lymphatic drainage improves. Further more, it should come by the oppsite displacement ofthe skin layers and the associated effect on the underlying muscles, tendons or ligaments to a gentle release of tissue bonds. This tape is highly breathable. The surface of the tape is water repellent, so that the adhesive effect of the tape is maintained for several days of use. Exceptions: during swimming or in similar situations where the tape is completely submerged in water for a long time. A high wearing comfort is ensured for several days.
