Operating advantages of cold refrigerated dryer
The refrigerated dryer consumes electricity, but for the air consumption of the adsorption dryer, its energy consumption is relatively small. The refrigerated dryer works reliably and is simple to maintain. There are no special requirements for the equipped air compressor, and it also has It has a certain oil removal effect, so the configuration requirements for the oil removal filter can be relatively reduced, and the investment and operating costs are relatively reduced.
Disadvantages of cold refrigerated dryer
When the refrigerated dryer is running, it is more sensitive to the ambient temperature. Generally, it cannot operate effectively when it exceeds 38℃ and below 0℃. Moreover, a large-capacity refrigeration dryer needs to consume a lot of cooling water, and its use in water-scarce areas will be restricted. Especially for long-term operation under rated load, the automatic unloading device of the refrigerant compressor should be considered, otherwise it will adversely affect the refrigerant system.
Because the refrigeration dryer adopts refrigeration technology, the pipeline is prone to ice blockage, so the pressure dew point of refrigeration drying can only reach 2℃ or more, and when dry air with a pressure dew point of -20℃ or less is required, the adsorption type The dryer is almost the only option. To sum it up in one sentence: the cold dryer is more convenient and more energy-efficient than the suction dryer in daily use. However, the working quality (air drying degree) of the refrigeration dryer is worse than that of the suction dryer, so it is not suitable for some occasions where the dryness of the compressed gas is very high.
