Feed Application

Corn protein meal has high protein content and rich amino acids. It can be used as a substitute for protein feed such as soybean cake and fish meal in the feed market where soybean cake and fish meal are in short supply. Corn protein meal is rich in nutrients, does not contain toxic and harmful substances, does not need to be reprocessed, can be directly used as protein raw material, is a feed material with higher feed value.

Cattle feed

Using corn gluten powder as concentrate feed can make part of the protein which can not be digested by rumen better digested and absorbed in small intestine. Corn protein meal contains linoleic acid, which can promote lipid metabolism in chickens and promote the polymerization of essential amino acids.

Pig feed

The protein content of corn gluten meal is directly related to the apparent digestibility energy of pigs. The energy and protein ratio is suitable or essential amino acids and non essential amino acids have higher energy digestibility than those of non essential amino acids. In addition, corn gluten meal with different protein content is added to the basal diet of pigs (CP:52% northeast production, 47.4%, 32% Beijing). The results showed that the apparent digestibility of the corn gluten meal containing 32% crude protein was higher than that of the corn gluten meal. The reason was probably that the energy and protein ratio of the corn gluten meal containing 20% crude protein was higher than that of the 25% protein, which was 30%, respectively. [2]

Chicken feed

The laying rate of laying hens can be increased by about 15% with corn gluten powder as the main feed. It can prevent and cure chicken chondrosis and other diseases, promote growth and health, and improve egg protein quality.

Coloring of Broilers

Although the color of broiler skin has nothing to do with its nutritional value, influenced by traditional culture, consumers and breeders still regard the color of broiler products as one of the main indicators to measure the quality of broiler products, which directly affects the price and demand of broiler market.

Broiler chickens can not synthesize lutein by themselves, but can only be obtained from feed. In order to obtain an ideal skin color, chemical synthetic colorants such as galithin red and galithin yellow are usually added to the feed of broiler chickens. These colorants have a higher price and increase the cost of feed and remain in livestock and poultry. The xanthophyll content of corn gluten powder is as high as 90-180 mg/kg, which is more than 5 times that of yellow corn. It can be absorbed effectively. It can make eggs golden and chicken skin yellow. The price of corn gluten powder is close to that of soybean cake. Therefore, corn gluten powder and arsenic acid can be used instead of chemical synthetic colorants to improve the colority of broilers.

The experimental group was fed with 2.5% corn gluten powder and 90 mg/kg arsenic acid, and the colorant control group was fed with 100 mg/kg califorin red. The blank control group was fed with no colorant. The results showed that the skin color grade of the experimental group and the colorant control group was significantly higher than that of the blank control group. The skin color between the experimental group and the colorant control group was significantly higher than that of the blank control group. There was no significant difference in the increase of color grade. The shank color of broilers in the experimental group was dark yellow, and the appearance conformed to people's consumption habits. From the effect of slaughtering broiler skin color, the effect of adding corn gluten powder was significantly higher than that of adding CALICIN red; the effect of natural lutein in feed was slightly worse than that of chemical synthetic colorant, but the effect of adding Astragalus acid promoted body metabolism and improved feed quality. The utilization and deposition rate of lutein changed the color of broiler epidermis, and the effect was obvious.
