What is water softener
Its main function is softening water, removing thermonatrite. The soft water can’t be drink directly. It belongs to domestic water, such as showering and hairdressing etc. The water softener can’t remove impurity, bacterium, virus and heavy metal.
The soft water can make Water equipment (wall hanging stove, radiator, water heater, solar energy etc) never deposit and block and make its life longer, stopping potential safety hazard and equipment consumption. And it can make bathroom facilities (glass bath room, mirror, bath, toilet etc) have no spot and rust, saving much time and energy for us, also the soft water has a good hairdressing effect.
Ion exchange resin is used in water softening system for Ca+,Mg+ and other cation exchange.To prevent undissolved saltfrom depositing in the surface of reverse osmosis membrane ,the resin which ensures well permeable ability of membrane module after it works a long time and extends lifetime of membranes , enhances quality stability of ro purified water . Working process
1. Raw water pump-- provide the pressure to quartz sand filter/active carbon filter.
2. Multi-medium filter--get rid of turbidity, suspended matter, organic matter, colloid, ect.
3. Active Carbon filter--Remove the color, free chloride, organic matter, harmful matter, ect.
4. Softener--exchange "ions" of calcium and magnesium with the most common and easiest method.
5. Micron filter--prevent large particles, bacteria, viruses into RO membrane, accuracy is 5um,
6. High pressure pump--Provide the high pressure to RO membrane ro.
7.RO system-- main part of the plant. The RO membrane's desalting rate can reach 99%, removing over 99% ions
