1.       Description

Mold making silicone rubber provided by Rui He Silicone is two component silicone, also calledrtv2 silicone, which will be vulcanized in room temperature when mix part A and part B evenly.

There are two kinds of molding silicone,

one is industry grade, belongs to tin cure silicone and condensation cure silicone, the general mix ratio of silicone and catalyst is 100:3.

Another one is food grade, belongs to platinum cure silicone and addition cure silicone, the general mix ratio of A and B is 1:1 or 10:1.

Both industry grade silicone and food grade silicone are excellent molding material for making silicone rubber molds, each one has its own advantages.

2.       Application

Molding silicone is suitable for reproducing and replicating variety of products in large quantity,  such us art crafts, furniture, prototyping, architectural elements, garden ornaments, shoe, tire, soap, candle, jewelry, vacuum bag and so on.

Molds silicone rubber is also suitable for making molds for variety of material, such as resin, PU, PVC, polyester, gypsum, plaster, concrete, cement, stone, GRC, wax, jewelry and so on.

This product cannot be contacted with compounds containing N, P, S to avoid affecting the catalytic effect of platinum.

4. How to remove the bubbles during my mould making?

--After mixing liquid silicone with curing agent, please put the material into vacuum machine to take off the bubbles.

 
5. How to get good silicone mould to use longer time?

--The best way is:

  1, Please choose the right liquid silicone according to your products.

  2, Don't use any silicone oil in mold making, because it can make the silicone mould become too soft to use.

  3, Silicone mould can be used longer after the whole silicone mould fully cured, so it's better to wait 2 hours after mould finished.

 
6. Why silicone rubber add curing agent after mixing a lot of bubbles?

 --This is normal physical phenomena. The liquid will produce a large number of bubbles in the mixing time, so, it must pass through the vacuum exhaust bubble treatment.
