Application
Phenoxyethanol is an aromatic and versatile solvent. It dissolves acrylic resins, cellulose nitrate, cellulose acetate, epoxy resin, phenoxy resin, For instance, it can be used as Latex coalescent in water-based industrial and architectural coatings.
Modifying agent for printing inks. Solvent for texile dyes used to enhance solvency of PVC plasticizer. Widely used preservatives in personal care products including detergents, cosmetics, toiletries and pharmaceuticals. Cleaning agents in surface treating of printed circuit board and plastics products. Penetrating agent in hair dyes and nail polishing colors, extractant in oil industry.
