This is a nice rod. I am an avid fly fisherman and already own 6 or 7 fly rods. I was, however, impressed by the precision workmanship and quality of this rod. The ferrules looked to be of the highest quality, along with a very nice, well color matched, reel seat that included 2 locking reel nuts to lock and secure the reel tightly to the rod. Even my Sage 5 wt. does not have that. The cork grip was of really high quality, which felt great in my hand. there was also a hook holder at the base of the rod. This is a beautiful fly rod. Well done Surefish.
I would suggest when you order it, opt for the rod case to go with it for only a few dollars more. You won't be sorry. For the price, you won't find a nicer fly rod.
