Applications
The Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) is a new type of water treatment technology which combines the excellent filtration characteristics of membrane separation and biological treatment. The COD removal rate of MBR is greater than 93%, where most of the suspended solids are removed, and the effluent quality is outstanding and stable. It is applicable to all types of office buildings, hotels, restaurants, institutions, restaurants, factories and other domestic sewage, and industries like textile production, brewing, paper processing, leather, food, and oil refining. MBR is a new type of water treatment technology which combines high efficiency membrane separation technology with an activated sludge method. The hollow fiber membrane effectively intercepts the microorganism and nitrifies bacteria in the sewage, so that accelerate the nitrification and effectively remove ammonia and nitrogen. At the same time, those large organic particles which are hard to be degraded in waste water can be intercepted in the reactor for a long time, until they are degraded.

Hollow fiber membrane is good at separating sludge and water, so that the activated sludge does not lose its characteristics. With a longer sludge age, the MBR does not require the traditional secondary settling tank.
