What is DEF Urea?




DEF urea, also called as automotive urea, is the solid prilled urea with high purity,this kind of urea requires less biuret and heavy metal contents compared with the agricultural urea. Our pure DEF grade urea is blended into aqueous urea solution by mixing 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water.With the widespread use of SCR technology,the demand of DEF urea has been increasing year by year. Currently,our DEF urea has passed the testing in Amalgatech, SGS.

What is Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)?


SCR technology uses a catalyst to break down dangerous NOx emissions produced by diesel engines into nitrogen and water.The chemical reactions used in SCR systems require a constant feed of ammonia gas.In automotive applications SCR delivers ammonia using a urea solution called Diesel Exhaust Fluid(DEF).
