ASMIN is a fine particle flowable additive for the production of warm mix asphalt (NTA).
This powdery material is added during the asphalt mixture mixing process to cause the asphalt to produce a continuous foaming reaction. The foam acts as a lubricant to provide the mix at a lower emperature (120-130 ° C). ASMIN contains 20% of crystal water, and when it is above 85 ° C, the water is dispersed and the asphalt is foamed. It can be mixed and processed at very low temperatures by adding ASMIN road and construction asphalt mixtures. As a result, energy consumption is significantly reduced in the production of asphalt mixtures. The use of ASMIN significantly reduces the emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and volatile organics during the mixing process, as well as greatly reduces steam emissions during the paving process.
