Prevention of cardiovascular disease
Epidemiological investigation found that long-term intake of soy products can delay the occurrence of atherosclerosis, reduce the
concentration of total blood cholesterol, reduce the incidence of heart disease.The mechanism of action of soybean isoflavones in
cardiovascular diseases is diversified. The relatively mature mechanisms include antioxidant effect, receptor regulation,
inhibition of proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells, and antithrombogenesis.Soybean isoflavone can inhibit tyrosine kinase
and reduce the phosphorylation of tyrosine protein in platelets, leading to decreased platelet activity, so that it deposition and
aggregation on the vascular wall decreased, preventing the whole body and atherosclerosis related thrombosis.Soybean isoflavones
significantly inhibited the increase of plasma triacylglycerol level induced by high-fat diet in rats, and had a significant
antagonistic effect on the increase of peroxide level induced by high-fat diet in vivo.It is mainly manifested in the decrease of
free radical level in liver and myocardium, the increase of SOD and gsh-px activity in liver and myocardium, and the decrease of
total antioxidant product content in serum, liver, myocardium and aorta.[4]

Prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in women
