Recirculating Aquaculture System RAS Fish Farm
Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) series of treatment processes is utilized to maintain water quality in intensive fish farming operations. These steps of Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) are often done in order or sometimes in tandem.
After leaving the vessel holding fish the water is first treated for solids before entering a bio filter to convert ammonia, next degassing and oxygenation occur, often followed by heating/cooling and sterilization. Each of these processes can be completed by using a variety of different methods and equipment, but regardless all must take place to ensure a healthy environment that maximizes fish growth and health.
This design is made for the breeding baby fish/shrimp, use the tank with size Dia.2*H1.2m, which is the best size for the fingerlings that easy for operation but also big enough to take the water culture that total cost is low, 16 tanks takes total water culture about 50m3, equip a RAS system with capacity of 50m3/hr, including:
1, Mechanism Filter-- High mesh filtration;
2, Protein Skimmer-- high efficient for both fresh water and sea water;
3, Ozone Generator--safe use with NO harm to the species;
4, Nitrification Bio-filter-- Bucket type units that construction free ( customer can also build the bio-filter tank to save the
cost );
