Polyanionic cellulose (PAC), CAS# 9004-32-4, is white or yellowish powder, non-toxic and odorless.It is a cellulose derivative manufactured through chemical synthesis, available as Cream white free flowing powder. The mud fluid prepared with this product has good water loss, inhibition and high temperature resistance.Widely used as water purifying agent in water treatment and drilling mud thickener in oil drilling industry, especially salt Wells and offshore oil drilling

It can be dissolved in water, has good heat stability and salt resistance, strong antimicrobial properties.

Properties of polyanionic cellulose (PAC)

(1) Suitable for use in any mud from fresh water to saturated brine

(2) PAC-LV can effectively reduce filtration loss and not significantly increase system mucus, especially for high solid content system.

(3) PAC-HV has high slurry production and obvious filtration reduction effect. Especially suitable for low solid phase mud and no solid phase brine mud.

(4) The mud fluid prepared by PAC can inhibit the dispersion and expansion of clay and shale in the high-salt medium, so as to control the well wall pollution.

(5) Excellent mud drilling fluid and workover fluid, as well as efficient fracturing fluid.

Storage&Handling Precaution

Storage: Polyanionic Cellulose should be Kept in dry, cool, and shaded place with original packaging, avoid moisture, store at room temperature.

Handling Precaution: Handling of Polyanionic Cellulose should only be performed by personnel trained and familiar with handling of organic chemicals. Avoid skin and eye contact and breathing in dust. Avoid handling which leads to dust formation.

Packing: ususlly 25kg (NW) in one kraft bag, with or without pallet into containers.
