By virtue of its high solvent power for numerous organic substances, cyclohexanone is used as a solvent in many branches of industry. Due to the high purity of the EL grade, it can be used in various electronic industry applications. Since it reacts with various classes of compounds - its reactivity is typical of an aliphatic ketone - it is used as a starting material for syntheses.
