2. What’s the mirror effect pigment?
A: This pigment is vacuum metallized pigment, we call it VMP in simple. It has mirror or chrome effect.
3. Is this pigment liquid or powder?
A: It’s liquid pigment.
4. How to use this pigment?
A. If used on transparent substance, spray or print it on the back, the front side will show mirror effect. Please contact us to get free formula.
B. If use on opaque substance, please do as below steps.
(1) Bake the substance before spraying. The baking temperature is around 70-90℃, Please bake evenly.
(2) Mix the VMP with resin and solvent, please contact us get the formula.
(3) Spraying a layer of based coat, after dry thoroughly, then spraying the chrome paint use the spraying gun. Please spray slowly and evenly, you can spray two layers or more.
(4) Bake again after the chrome paint, the baking temperature is around 70-90℃. Please bake evenly.
(5) Spraying the top coat(protective coat or clear coat). The top coat normally are water-based clear coat, weak acid clear coat, nano coating or specialized chrome paint clear coating
5. How many square meters for 1kg VMP spraying?
A: Around 60-80 square meters.
6. If we can’t make paint by ourself, can you provide the ready paint?
A: Yes, we can provide ready paint if you can’t make paint.
7. How long can be stored?
A:Please strictly follow our instructions. Normally our products is 1 year quality guarantee.
