Chevron floors have a rich history as a traditional floor pattern in Europe, particularly in France in the 17th century. Chevron floors are laid out in zig-zag pattern, where each plank are is cut to ensure that each “zig” and “zag” are connected at a 60 degree angle. The oak A chevron pattern floor can be used in various types of homes or commercial premises. Chevron pattern parquet flooring is applicable to underfloor heating and possibly floor cooling.  The oak is most popular material for parquet flooring because it is durable, timeless, hard and has beautiful organic drawings. The oak chevron pattern floors are available in many dozens of handmade colors.

Yorking Hardwood Flooring has years of experience in supplying and installing chevron floors.  Oak engineered chevron flooring is 15 mm thick with a 2-4mm solid hardwood wear layer, wire brushed surface to enhence natural oak wood grain on the surface. We also supply solid oak chevron is 18mm thick.

This chevron oak parquet flooring is elegantly pre finished with multiple coats of matt UV lacquered, giving it ultimate protection, durability and easability to maintain.

Chevron oak parquet flooring has reverse T & G jointed, bevelled edge giving each plank more natural definition individually. The chevron floor can be glued directly on the sand cement floor or on an existing tile floor. When there is an old existing wooden construction floor, we first put a subfloor over the construction floor and then glue the chevron floor directly on top of it
