Q.1 What’s the UV printer? What application does it can use for?

— UV printer is a kind of digital multifunctional inkjet printer that can print on most
materials based on the special UV ink.

People can use it for print any photos on the different materials surface, such as metal,
wood, glass, ceramic, stone, acrylic, pvc, plastic, abs, steel, aluminum and so on. Most
people use is to print company logo their products, or they print beautiful design on their
products, there are many business man use it for printing on phone case, pvc cards, ball
pens, CD/DVD, charger, mug cup, cylinder, wood veneer, oil painting and so on.

Q.2 What’s the main features of the UV printer?

— Compared to the eco-solvent printer, UV printer has four great features:

a. Print directly on most material, no need spray coating;

b. Drying at once, no need wait for drying time;

c.The white UV ink ink is available, can print on dark products;

d. Can print with embossment 3D effect.

Q.3 Why the (UV printer) printed pictures can drying at once?

— Most people think the printed pictures can dry at once for the high temperature of the LED UV lamp.

If fact it is wrong. As the UV ink can make chemical reaction with the LED light (from the UV lamp), so the UV ink can dry at once.

Q.4 There are many different UV printers, which model is suitable for me?

— As these printers have the different max printing size, max printing speed and
resolution. If you have no idea to choose which one, you can ask yourself: what products do i need to print? what’s the max size ? How many pcs do i need per month?

Q.6 How about the UV / Edible/ textile ink cost?

— Maybe the UV printer is little expensive compared to the old screen printing machine.
But the ink cost is very low. Kindly know 1 liter ink can print about 100 SQ.M.

For example, if you want to print on your phone case with design size 5cm*8cm, you can print about 25000 pcs phone case (If it is white phone case and do not need print with embossment).

Q.7 Can i use the same one UV printer to print on T-shirt and phone case, pens etc(UV ink) ?

— As the UV ink is a kind of inkjet printer, it is develop from the eco-solvent/ textile printer/ food printer printer after they add the UV system (LED UV lamp and cooling system).

So, you can print on t-shirt and phone case, pens etc by the same one UV printer. But as the t-shirt printing demands to the textile ink, so you need exchange the ink before you printing ( Of course you need clean the nozzle before you exchange the ink).
